Dhriti Bolangadi
Dhriti Bolangadi has been taking classes at Agoura High School for the past four years, and she has taken classes outside of school as well. In fact, she has even taught art classes in the past. She loves working with pen, charcoal, and different kinds of paint. She is so talented that many of her pieces are auctioned. One of her pieces sold for more than $900, while others have sold for around $200. Her art often presents controversial messages that cause viewers to think about their lives and recent decisions. I love how she is so inspired by her surroundings. Recently, she applied for an artist's license in the State of California so that her work could be featured in museums. She won Artist of the Month for her creativity, expertise, and hard-work.

Charger of the Month
Annabel Asher
"Annabel Asher is the definition of a perfect charger. She has a 4.2 GPA and is the most spirited person I know. She is incredibly involved in both academics and theatre. She pushed herself to take a mostly AP schedule. She makes other students (regardless of grade) feel welcomed and appreciated. She creates a positive "family" environment for everyone around her and helps to add to our Agoura Family. Annabel Asher deserves this more than anyone I know!"

Cathy Prater
"After my friend donated blood at the blood drive, she was very light headed and woozy. Mrs Prater made sure she did not drive herself home and walked her all the way to her grandparents car. Mrs Prater always has others needs ahead of her own, in the classroom and out. Very appreciative of her."

She's caring, compassionate, friendly, focused, and appreciative. No one deserves recognition more." |

Chargers of the Month
Keanna Rasheki
"Keanna is one of the most dedicated, hardworking, and caring people you can find in the bubble of agoura. I have known her for over 10 years now and have never once been in a fight with her or been angry towards her because there has never been a reason. She cares about everyone so much whether she met them a minute ago or she has known them for her whole life. She is actively involved with Agoura with yearbook, council, track and field, and numerous AP classes. She is so supportive of every kid and is truly the perfect charger. " |
Jennifer Kestenbaum
"I always look forward to going to this teachers class! She is always happy, asks everyone how their day is going, and greets each student with the biggest smile. She is genuinely concerned about her students' well being! From an academic perspective, this teacher is somehow able to make anything make sense, and relate it the curriculum to something her students can relate to. I don't know of a single student that doesn't thrive in her class!" |
