Saving the Environment
There is so much we can do as individuals, as a school, and as a community to make a difference in our world. Agoura High School is proud to promote an awareness of environmental issues and we are implementing as many environmentally friendly programs as we can. For example, if you take a look around campus, you will find our new Recycling Centers, in which we will sort our waste and recyclable products. AHS is planning to take on so many more environmentally friendly actions, and we need all of your support.
Paper beats plastic?
"Most of us want to do the right thing when it comes to the environment. But things aren’t as simple as opting for the paper bag, says sustainability strategist Leyla Acaroglu. A bold call for us to let go of tightly-held green myths and think bigger in order to create systems and products that ease strain on the planet."
